League of Women Voters has been active in lobbying for paper trails on
electronic voting.  My wife Kitty is a member.  Our position is that the
software should be open-source or at least open to public scrutiny.  The
situation has been proprietary, no one can know whether the computer might
be switching votes.

I'd like to see local open-source folks address this issue, I'm sure that
is what Jonathan is talking about.
