I remember there was some kind of plugin out there which added the menu to Mozilla browser, where you could switch the browser identity by simply selecting what you want it to be from a short list: Netscape, MSIE, ... I just don't remember now where I got it from. I think I've got it through this list. Now I'm pretty happy with the possibility of occasionally switching with that general.useragent.override feature. However, what Mike said is right - we should make a statement. In practice though, on some occasions one urgently needs access to some sites, and there's no time for making statements. I'll write to them later anyway.
