Interestingly, when I tried the desktop tool (under Gnome): Network Configuration -> Hardware -> Network Adapter I didn't see any Orinoco name present in the list of all the adapters there. I tried some, like "PCMCIA wavelan_cs" and "PCMCIA netwave_cs", but it did not configure anything - and did not even show any error/warnings. It seem to finish the configuration normally, but on subsequent restarts of the "Network Configuration" tool it did not show any new hardware profile added. I can't explain this behavior, and in fact I'd prefer to have it done using command-line/shell scripts. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
