Is there a meeting topic set yet?

It seems a bit odd promoting a meeting that we don't have a topic
scheduled for.

I know the website says F* ... but both of the topics on that list
are far too complex to share a meeting with each other ... and when
we open it up to anything starting with the letter "F" we do an
injustice to any one topic.

We had the "lighting talks" meeting several months ago, and this
seems like the same thing to me but with a more limited number of
topics.

Since we are handing out fliers to the general public, and
encouraging them to come, I think we need to have a topic that would
be more appealing to them on a whole.

Firewalls isn't a bad topic. Why should they care? What is available
to them? How to build one with an old computer that is laying around
(and a small linux distro).

Firefox isn't a bad one either. Why should they care? How do they get
it? (perhaps hand out CD's with an install for various Operating
Systems). Configuration/Privacy options. Plugins.

Both of those are good topics, but please don't try to combine them
into a single meeting.

Probably should also add the meeting topic to the flier before you
start putting it out. If there is no specific topic less people will
be interested.

Mike.
