I was thinking that it may be a good idea if some Linux users who already
have Linux installed on their laptops, like myself, can bring their laptops
to the fest and let them running there as a demonstration of Linux
varieties. I, in particular have Linux on Apple Powerbook (Yellodog), and HP
(SUSE). Since neither distribution seems to be in the focus of the fest, I
could let those laptops running - just to let people see that Linux can run
anywhere, and that it's pretty uniform desktop environment independent of
the distribution (if one sticks to KDE or Gnome, or course).
