Don't let the "advanced command line techniques" scare you away from
attending. One of the common things I've heard new people say is "I
think this group is too advanced for me." Quite to the contrary! LUGs
are meant to provide people of all skill levels a place to gather, be
helped, and help others.

I've been preparing my talk keeping that in mind. It will be geared to
everyone, not just advanced users. People who have never used the
command line will acquire the basic skills required to move around
efficiently, something very important in Kung Foo Command Line.
Advanced users will be treated to a refresher course, and may even learn
some things they never knew. Often long time command line users fall
into patterns of behavior forgetting some of the more powerful moves
available to them.

Consider my talk a training course. When I'm finished speaking Lukewarm
will lead a Command Line Kung Foo demonstration sure to amaze!

It's going to be a lot of fun, so don't miss it.

p.s. If you can, bring a laptop or computer to practice moves as they
are taught, and share your machine with others who don't have one so
they can practice, too. Thanks!
