I'd like to reaffirm the importance of what Jonathan posted.

Local Morgantown folks with knowledge of open source technology are
ESPECIALLY important in getting to the bottom of concerns about electronic
voting.

Is it unreasonable to expect voting machine software to be transparent and
open-source?
