Re: Installfest project/help

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me set up a  linux workstation, either at this linuxfest or possibly at some other  time/location. I have a HP xw8000 dual xeon workstation with an nvidea  quadro ( I forget the model) video card. I am looking to install   CAELinux http://www.caelinux.com/CMS/index.php and would also install  BRL-CAD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRL-CAD   http://brlcad.org/  (does anyone have experience with BRL Cad or  CAE?)
  
 I already have windows XP pro installed on it, I guess  I need to order a new scsi HD since the two in it already arent that  big to start with and I have to keep windows.
  
 my first  problem I have is that I do not have access to a dvd burner to burn the  live/install disk for CAELinux. second, although I have played some  with a couple distro's, mainly ubuntu, I havent gotten into setting up  video card drivers or installing  any programs beyond the normal  installation disk software and would like to have some help around if  possible.
