They may support Firefox, but they still don't support Linux. You can
bypass their silly OS check by using the following URL to access mix:

http://gold.wvu.edu

You can also disregard their portal alltogether if you only need to
check email... Go to http://mix.wvu.edu instead of the usual
http://www.mix.wvu.edu .

At least the Libraries site is cross-platform/cross-browser!  :-)
