Re: Debian,Synaptic,Mail?

A., you have to be Root. My way in to Synaptic is in 2 steps: 1) su - ;
enter, give root password. 2) as Root run 'synaptic'.
Terminal stays open but a new window opens for the graphical Synaptic.
