Aaron, Sleep & suspend are also hardware dependent. It used to be a common
issue and vary by actual hardware. Often power and lightlocker are set to
take care or idleness and may have different settings. Also search the e
Ubuntu help as Mint is based on some edition of it. You may have to unlock
each time it sleeps. I've seen similar issue in Ubuntu 18.04. See you next
