Hi Ted,

I'm interested in the book, but I'm not sure.
Do you think that it would be appropriate for me?

Here's a description of where I'm at:
I recall that I asked questions when I was getting started with Linux a
few years ago. You suggested that i get a couple book or take some
courses. I did not do it at that time because I was overwhelmed with
new Linux stuff and sorting through information overload, trying
desperately to distill the essential things I needed to know at the
moment in order to function well, and also because my life was already
overly full in other departments outside of Linux.
Now, I have settled into Linux, becoming highly proficient in some
limited arenas.
I have more time, also, and I would like to learn more Linux stuff, but
I'm not sure how.
