Hi NMGLUG folks,

I haven't seen emails from this list for a while. Is the list still
being used?

If anyone reads this, I have a question about yt-dlp.
In the past few days, I've gotten this error "ERROR: [youtube]: Sign in
to confirm you’re not a bot."
Has anyone encountered this? What is the solution?

Verbose version:
I used youtube-dl for a while and switched to yt-dlp when functionality
dictated.
I've been using yt-dlp for years, and it works great.
For the past year, I've downloaded youtube playlists, and it's worked
great with a CLI command something like yt-dlp --playlist-start 1 --
playlist-end 999 -f 140 youtubePlaylistLink
A few days ago, I started getting the "sign in" error randomly for
about half of the videos in the playlist.
Here's how I know it was random. 1) When repeating the command for the
same playlist, each time it downloaded about half of the videos, but
which ones downloaded was different. or 2) If I repeated the same
command in the same folder for a playlist with about 20 videos, the
first time, about 10 downloaded, the second time, 10 said "already
downloaded", about 5 downloaded and about 5 gave the "sign in" error.
After a few more iterations, all 20 downloaded.
That was a few days ago.
Today, I tried to download a playlist of 11 videos and got the "sign
in" error for all 11 with zero successful downloads.
So, it's getting worse.
