After two years of repetetive explaination?  Yeah, I would wonder.  
However, we aren't publishing books. There is no profit motive here.  We 
are cool people who want to have a meeting.

Can you find a better analogy?  I can't really make any interesting 
argument with that one.  In fact, it so poorly applies to the situation 
and I can't take it further, focus on one (seemingly inconsequential) 
point, or do anything to disprove it.  It does all that for me.
