Sure... if the configure options are what you need, its way fast. WTF is up with all these users who 
don't know how to compile things? RPMs and all binary packages actually suck.. for the above reason. 
Well, except, of couse, when you don't care what options are enabled. Which I guess linux newbs 
could care less about.

Hmmm.

Its interesting watching Binary package-based distros morph into a Windows operating system... but 
still, XP is much better at many things.
