Well, not really wanting to start a distro war, if that's the case, then 
I'd suggest Gentoo Linux running on 2.6.7-ck5 kernel with udev instead 
of devfs.

Yes, you're insane.  I'd suggest outsourcing too.  The cool thing with 
pdxcolo is that it's a shared box, but you have full root access, so it 
doesn't quite "feel" like a shared box.
