The threaded messages via webmail is very nice for people who read a lot of mailing lists and don't stick to a single computer. It really is head and shoulders better than Hotmail or Yahoo from an e-mail perspective, in my opinion. The address book still stinks tho. I'm hoping they decide that's an important feature someday. If you do use Gmail, be sure to turn hotkeys on in your preferences, and play around with that a bit. It is very slick.
