I finally took some time today to play around with wine for a while. I got photoshop running and got optimistic and tried to install Illustrator and IKernel.exe failed..which is InstallShield Engine..but I think it has to do with not being able to write to the temp directory. Is there anything that I should do look into in trying to resolve this? The reason that I think it's temp directory is that another program had a self-extracting archive and it failed to write to X:\ [Drive X] "Path" = "/tmp" "Type" = "hd" "Device" = "" "Filesystem" = "win95" [wine] "Windows" = "C:\\Windows" "System" = "C:\\Windows\\System" "Temp" = "X:\\" "Path" = "C:\\Windows;C:\\Windows\\System;X:\\;X:\\test;Y:\\;" Thoughts, comments? I might sign up on the wine user list and try there as well. Thanks!
