Take a look at Seattle Wireless.  They have a lot of good info regarding 
wireless networking.  The biggest question is whether or not you 
wireless card is supported in linux. Check the hardware comparison list 
( http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/HardwareComparison ) and see 
if your card has anything good or bad said about it.  If your card is 
supported, then they generally aren't too hard to setup.  Find the 
drivers, load them, use iwconfig (wireless-tools pacakge) to associate 
with an AP, and then ifconfig to bring up normal networking.  I'm sure 
SuSe has some pacakge or tools to handle most of that for you. However, 
I don't use SuSe, so I can't really help you on that part.  Good luck.
