Lug members,

During a recent trip into Portland, I met a group of women who call 
themselves the Red Hat Society.

Their motto sounds like a beer commercial:

Welcome to the Red Hat Society

  where there is fun after fifty (and before) for women of all walks 
of life. We believe silliness is the comedy relief of life and, since 
we are all in it together, we might as well join red-gloved hands and 
go for the gusto together.


I hope that the software company is not infringing on any of their 
trademarks, patents, et. al.
