Hello sir jijo and john, @ jijo, i found out that it was a firmware problem. Aparently, the kernel could not found the firmware so I got one from the net and put in on my /lib/firmware .. after that I was able to load the ipw22000 diver and the device is visible now as eth1 Now that I have the wireless interface running, how do I say.. configure it to use airbornaccess.net <http://airbornaccess.net> for example? Is there any site on the web that discusses this kind of topic? I'm a newbie at networking and stuff .. :) THanks guys.
