Re: networking/internet connection in console mode

i open those three files
  ifcfg-eth0
  resolv.conf
  network
   
  and i found out that in in eth0 the value of boottopro = static, but we have a dynamic ip address do i have to change to (boototpro=dynamic).
   
  how about the ip address? netmask? gateway? do i have to enter the value base on our working network current setting. 
   
  and for resolv.conf
  the value is nameserver 202.78.97.41
  search ourcompany.com
   
  and for /etc/sysconfig/network
  networking=yes
  hostname=localhost.localdomain
   
  do i have to change all these files?
