For all I care it's already the firmware to replace the dinosaur dung
known as the PC BIOS... Afaik the need for an MBR is only present in
the IBM PC architecture - and since EFI appeared first in the Intel
Itanium (IA64) architecture maybe they've done away with the MBR
requirement?
