Non, le serveur X de Freedesktop.org s'appelle, simplement, Xserver. 
X.org, c'est le descendant de XFree86.  Il y a eu un fork après les 
problèmes de license d'il y a deux mois.  La version que j'utilise 
correspond à XFree86 4.4.0, à peu près.  Ça vient standard avec Fedora 
Core 2, et avec la plupart des nouvelles distributions.
