You're very welcome.

I hope you'll pardon some annoying pedanticism from me, in the name of
clarifying things for the public. You mentioned Debian 8.5. Yes,
absolutely there's a Debian 8.5 -- but it's not what most people will
assume it is.

Debian 8.5 is the sixth refresh of a installation ISOs. (8.0 was the
first release of those ISOs.) These are ISOs that install Debian 8
'Jessie'.

There is no Debian distribution with version number 8.5. There is a
Debian distribution with version number 8.

If, hypothetically, you had used the 8.0 installation ISOs to install
Debian 8 'Jessie', and then did 'apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade'
to fetch the most recent package updates for 'Jessie', the current
Debian-stable release, the end-result would be _exactly the same_ as
what you'd get today by installing the 8.5 installation ISOs and then
doing 'apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade' to fetch the most recent
package updates for 'Jessie'.

The installation media are versioned -- but are _merely a means_ to get a
functional system able to subsequently track Debian-stable -- which is
currently Debian 8. Whether you start with ISOs of 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3,
8.4, or 8.5 doesn't actually matter, provided the installer is recent
enough to support your hardware. In all cases, after apt-get (or
similar) package sync, the result is the same: Debian 8.
