If you suspect you haven't been getting [email protected] posts for
multiple months, and wanted to, then try unsubscribing at
http://lists.svlug.org/lists/listinfo/svlug, then resubscribing.

Hi, Eric! Thanks for mentioning the problem. Let's see:

OK, first and most obvious check performed: The roster still shows
[email protected] as a subscribed user who does _not_ have the
'nomail' flag set.

And there _most_ definitely have been postings to the mailing list since
August 4th.

So, Mailman _thought_ you're in the system post-August, but thinks there
was something wonky with your bounce score.

Yes, I'm guessing -- just a silly wild-assed guess, mind you -- that it
wouldn't be a bad idea _at all_ to just see if unsubscribing and
resubscribing you might do the trick.

See, here's where I am going to give you the broader picture (more than
you asked for), both for your knowledge and to reach people in the CC:
The mailing list server is decrepit. It's _very_ credible that
Mailman's 'pickled' Python files, such as the subscriber records, are dodgy.
Frankly, the lists.svlug.org virthost needs a software rebuild. And
this is likewise not news.

For a long time, I have lacked the time to deal with this, and that
isn't going to change soon. I've made sure the remaining other SVLUG
volunteers are aware of this -- again, for a long time -- and nobody
else is picking up the ball. So, sorry about that, but I cannot carry
this whole thing by myself.

To help out, I've just manually unsubscribed you from
[email protected], then added you back again. I hope that helps!
