hostapd in lxc

My home server has a wireless nic.
It runs most of the services inside lxc containers.

I would like to use it as a hotspot as well.

I tried to run hostapd on the host. Easy. It works.

Now I was thinking about the opportunity of running hostapd inside 
lxc... because it is a much longer journey.
I don't care that much about the journey, hypothetically I'll have to do 
it once and everything is explained on the net, I care more about having 
to depend on something that's hard to remember and I'll have to maintain.

Pro? Cons?
