I definitely see huge merit in that, believe me -- and I apologise if 
I seemed to suggest otherwise.  I think I took the time to say in that
very same footnote, immediately below where you stopped quoting, that I 
sympathise with Mozilla, Inc.'s legitimate concerns.  (/me checks.)
Um, yes, I did say exactly that.

Clearly, the open source community's need to be able to sign its own
code and Mozilla, Inc.'s need to ensure integrity for its corporate (and
similar) customers can both be, and are, valid concerns, right?


As a follow-up and correction to my original post, I _meant_ to revise
my reference to poster 'golinux-/[email protected]' from 'he' to 'he or she', but
failed to do so before posting.  I apologise forthe sexist assumption.
