Dan, Good point, 1 gigabit Ethernet ports are certainly faster if you need them, but most ISP's providing home DSL or Cable Internet are still under 30 gb's in many cases, so a 100 megabit Ethernet is still not the Bottle neck unless you want to transfer data between your Mac's or USB hard drive connected to the Dlink's USB port.
