andyc is speaking about Oil Shell tonight in San Jose

A friend of mine and fellow lobste.rs user, andyc, is giving his
first public presentation on Oil Shell tonight at Paypal in San
Jose:

Andy has been developing Oil Shell in public for the past few
years.  The code itself is a fork of Python which he then stripped
down to make it suitable for use in a shell environment.  It is
backward compatible with bash, which is noteworthy amongst alternative
shells.
