There were 2 groups back in the day, one in SF (BALUG) and one in SV,
and even one in the east bay (EBLUG IIRC), but this only works well if
you have the membership for each.
A good speaker is less likely to come for a meeting with 10 people
than one with 100+ like SVLUG was back in the days (BALUG also was in
the many dozens when it did well, while EBLUG was definitely smaller).
