On my DIR-632, the only real option was dd-wrt, as openwrt is way too
experimental.

If you have an option on your router, that's pretty cool.  I'd be inclined
to openwrt as it offers more extensibility.

And, most likely,  less potential for NSA/MSS hooks :-)
