Something else I tripped over recently (and no, I don't remember where -
I've been trying to find it again) was some mention of problems with mixing
software RAID 5 with one (or more?) of the journaling filesystems.  Seems
there's a potential for some bad ju-ju when both are doing their
after-a-crash reconstruction at the same time.  Details were scarce.  :-(
