I have a question about SCSI, if you guys don't mind answering it. We bought a Dell PowerEdge 1500SC (which I haven't had the chance to examine yet), which includes an onboard SCSI controller plus a SCSI hard drive. No other SCSI devices. We bought another SCSI hard drive, which I want to make part of the chain. To do this, would I need a "single device" cable plus a terminator, or would I need to replace the installed cable with a "two device" cable? Sorry, I don't have much experince with SCSI. One more thing: the controller is "dual channel", if that helps any. I guess it might also be worth knowing that it's an Adaptec U160/LVD controller. (Two goats, I know ;) Thanks in advance! --- Vitaly McLain <[email protected]> "Don't worry about people stealing your ideas.
