It's rather funny.. no matter how I manage the list someone loudly 
complains..

If I set that option, people will scream that I am an evil moderator and 
censor what they say and how censorhip is evil and I must die...

Otherwise we get spam.

LUNI is setup for members-only-posting, that's fine.  LUNI-D was setup ON 
PURPOSE without any kind of moderation - we knew upfront that will generate 
spam, but that was the decision.

Please consider something like http://spamassassin.org, it works wonders -
in fact I didn't see any of the spam you complained about until I checked my
trash file after you bitched.

Final note, you can't have your cake and eat it too...

I've simply stop caring by now.., I don't care about this setting, except 
that it generates more work from me.

If  another person (Martin's one) who has been on a list for a while agrees
to it, I'll enable it...
