The sig below is from the start of what I thought was a good
introduction to vim in Lasser's book, which in turn I thought would
have been a great first book about Unix.  Wish it had come out a couple
decades sooner.

Of course it is about the ancestral vi, so you have to really want to
learn to think differently.  :-)
