I concur with Bill except to add that yes, the LVM partition may have been created by/for whatever virtual machine you installed - not likely, but possible. So I'd check what partitions that uses (sometimes they use the raw drive, sometimes just a monolithic file on a pre-existing filesystem - depends on how you set it up) if you care about it still working before finally nuking the LVM part.

It looks like you did not remove your Fedora install;
/dev/sda2      ext4                200.00M  60.19M  139.81M  Boot
/dev/sda3      lvm2                107.39G                             lvm

These two partitions do not seem to be used by Ubuntu according to your fstab 
entry and should be safe to remove, then you can resize or move the other 
partitions.  But since sda2 is flagged as Boot, it might confuse Grub and not 
boot, so have the Ubuntu disk ready so you can boot off it and reinstall grub 
if needed, or just leave sda2 since it is rather small.

About your swap partition, unless you are planning on using suspend, then you 
do not need a particularly large swap.
