Hey all- Ok, so finally found the pen for my the X41 (hidden in the couch) again. I installed ubuntu 10.10 on it (convenience) and I'm pleasantly surprised. I got everything (almost) setup just the way I want it. 1) Key mappings: I wrote a script that maps acpi events to the tablet buttons (pg up/dn, enter and esc). The "tpb" package works well now with the on screen volume (up/dn mute). I've noticed something a bit strange (minor annoyance): The OSV does not sync with the volume control applet in the toolbar. Is there something else I should be looking for to sync these two? 2) Screen rotation This script works well when I flip the screen up. However, I would like to rotate it so that the battery end is facing UP instead of down. I know that the script may need a little more modification to tell the wacom driver which orientation the screen is in. Again, has anyone found out how to do this? I'm not looking for the fancy 90d roatation, just either landscape with battery end up or down and "regular" laptop mode is fine. Here's the pastebin code for each file: http://pastebin.com/KaW830xJ Thanks for any help or guidance in the right direction to get these small issues out of the way. -c -- Linux Users Of Northern Illinois (Chicago) - Technical Discussion http://luni.org/mailman/listinfo/luni
