I recall COD has a rule that they will give free space to a group like a LUG but the officers of the group have to be full time COD students or faculty. That seems reasonable to me. ________________________________ From: W. CoD is a pain in the ass to work with. They genuinely don't seem interested in a good public relations policy, and can often just be huge dicks for no reason. That said, there are other places we can meet. Panera Bread has free wifi, and often has space for meetings. There's one of those very close to the college on Butterfield, and that wouldn't be a half bad place. I doubt we could do it monthly, but there is also the Naperville Holiday Inn. They have meeting spaces. There's lots of ideas for a place like this around here. -- Linux Users Of Northern Illinois (Chicago) - Technical Discussion http://luni.org/mailman/listinfo/luni -- Linux Users Of Northern Illinois (Chicago) - Technical Discussion http://luni.org/mailman/listinfo/luni
