I would think RHEL's doc on virtualization [1] would be the place to
start.  You have not mentioned which version of CentOS.

AFAIK, CentOS is built off RHEL src rpms .... and RHEL philosophy is
stability (tested and tried version) v/s latest.  CentOS does have add
on repos.  Also, there is a CentOS virtualization mailing list.
