I just wanted to post an update.
I am currently trying to get a Linux Users Club going at the College of Lake County, as I am currently a student there.

I am meeting with the Activities department at the end week to see if this club gets approval. It might be several weeks before we have our first meeting (due paperwork and other requirements that might need to be fulfilled to get full approval). I'll keep this group posted on details as they become available.
