It's not just tinyurl links, it is any links.  Especially if there isn't 
enough text in the email.

I run a forum using SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/).  Because of 
spammers and people who can't type, I have it set for new members to 
confirm their email address after I manually approve them.  Many people 
will receive the first welcome email the program sends out, but the 
second email with verification link will go to their spam/junk folder.

BCCs will bounce or go to spam more often than direct emails, simply 
because some spam filters zap anything that isn't direct.  Many 
newsletters now carry explicit "put us on your white list" notices 
because of this.

Some people may be forwarding all incoming mail to a backup account, 
that is one reason you might get a bounce message even though they 
received the email.

Are you on a shared mail server?  You can sometimes see if your server 
is on a blacklist from the bounce message.

Is anyone else noticing a drastic increase in spam recently?
