Linux Systems Administrator  Batavia IL

 SGA is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator for a full time position
with one of our clients in the Chicago area. Candidate will be responsible
for installing, configuring and maintaining operating systems on
workstations and servers. Trouble shoot problems with server hardware,
operating system and applications software. Perform software installations
and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages, schedule
installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with IT policies
and procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

*Requirements*:

   -

   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    -

   Professional experience preferred.
    -

   Knowledge of Linux operating system and Linux system administration: OS
   installation, monitoring, etc.


   - Experience with wide variety of hardware types and configurations.
   - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Linux software and hardware issues.

   - Knowledge of Shell and/or Python scripting.
   - Experience automating tasks.
   - Must have good interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
   - Must be able to write clearly.
   - Must have ability to prioritize tasks and work with a large and diverse
   set of users.

 *A plus:*

   - Knowledge of ITIL management framework, and experience using ITIL
   processes preferred.
   - Skill with C/C++ or other programming languages preferred
