Well, that's not good. Most contractors don't know the difference
between UTP categories...

No - crosstalk shouldn't be a problem. I have put in large installs with
UTP and coax with no problems.

It's a standard thing in the residential LV world. Personally, I hate
dealing with coax - it's bulky, ugly, has limited bw, and terminates
poorly. Unless you are going to have multiple antenna feeds -- ie.
off-air + c-band or k-band dish -- or multiple tuner feeds you don't
need more then one drop -- especially since you can always add an
external combiner or splitter.
