I would think so.   Otherwise why would they include it in the CD?
Besides, the DD-WRT firmware + docs are also available from the
Buffalo web site.  The theme is customized with Buffalo logo etc.

openWRT comes with a build environment so one can build customized
firmware.   The community DD-WRT for x86 does not include drivers for
Wi-Fi.  chipsets, firmware with Wi-Fi chip drivers require activation,
about 10 euros.
