As I said originally, I believe it was a Comcast problem. It is working
again today, was not working yesterday. I changed nothing when it
failed and I changed nothing when it resumed working. This is what they
always do. They insist it is a customer problem, either make them pay
for extra service or don't have to report any down time, so they can
claim their network is has high uptime.

This has happened before, they say it is not their problem, it let them
spend a week to fix the problem, yet not have any down time. Last time
thy broke the pinhole for DHCP so nobody could renew their lease. But
"all their routers were up". Eventually, when everybody's lease
expired, and perhaps people were converting away from Comcast, they
fixed it.
