I am trying to test firewire cards and cables and stacks. I have 2 cards, modprobe firewire-net ifconfig firewire0 10.0.0.10 ifconfig firewire1 10.0.0.11 hook a cable from 0 to 1 route add magic ping 10.0.0.11 I need the magic that will force the traffic to go out over 10.0.0.10, not straight to .11 which the os has access to. I want to do this all on one box. I have done similar things on 2, but for this I kinda want to use 1. mainly because I want to be able to run a script that doesn't have to run stuff on a 2nd box. -- Carl K -- Linux Users Of Northern Illinois (Chicago) - Technical Discussion http://luni.org/mailman/listinfo/luni
