Not at all.  The traffic all passes through a router that you control,
right?  If you can't redirect the port 80 traffic to your proxy without
needing to touch anything on the client, then you're not running Linux
on the router.  Hint: NAT or masquerade is built on the same sort of
in-router capture and modify.

Also not written yesterday, but this is from the iptables era, and
squid is mature to the point of being legacy software, so why should it
be rewritten every three or four years?

stuff is *old* technology.

linux" for helping me find these examples of online documentation after
