I was also going to keep the LUNI name, I wasn't going to remove that.

Here's I guess what I was thinking of....

LUNI, I think could be a nice medium for other groups to
post/advertise events and such.

I'd like to make it fairly easy to just get credentials and let people
update events/create events
and use the luni infrastructure for whatever LUG/FLOSS like entity
they want to create.

so, I was initially thinking of switching to a google groups acct
mainly because its easier if
I flip luni.org to a google hosted domain.  Then I can create up to N
number of users on
luni.org and grant permissions to create events, and such.  Not to
mention create some

email address like [email protected] which gives permissions to manage
uiclug oriented material
on the LUNI site.

I know some of this stuff can be done with our current
infrastructure.. but its still has the bottle
neck of.. "email <admin name> hey can you create a new mailing
list.... can you make this change to blah"

People get busy with RL which is perfectly normal, but there should be
a simple way to delegate rights
to trusted individuals and avoid bottle necks.

and make luni.org a site that points to the group/groups mailing list.
event calendars, sites..etc.
