LED monitor

My Mitsubishi CRT monitor is finally giving up.... at times I have to work for 30 min or more to get it going so figure it is time to get a new monitor. Question is what is the best for the price these days. I remember when NEC was the standard and don't find that as an option. Samsung??? Any opinions appreciated.
